This is the face of neglect and the tragedy of overpopulation. My newborn babies and I were rescued from a porch where we had no protection from predators in 95 degree heat. I can't tell people how long I was struggling to survive on the streets or how much I suffered, but my very poor physical condition when rescued made the volunteers want to cry. I have limited vision in one eye and my ears are permanently disfigured from my scratching to try to relieve the horrible pain of ear mites and ear infections. Three of my four kittens survived and have been adopted.
